What is WebP?

WebP is an image format built for the web. It often creates smaller files than PNG or JPG while keeping photos, screenshots and graphics sharp enough for modern websites.

When should you compress images?

Compress images before uploading them to a website, blog post, landing page, shop or ad creative library. The best time to optimize is before heavy images slow down real visitors.

Best settings for web images

For most web images, use quality 82 and a max width around 1600 to 1920 pixels. Keep original dimensions for images that need pixel-perfect inspection.

Are images uploaded to Sellix?

No. This image optimizer runs locally in your browser. Files are not sent to the Sellix server.

What is the upload limit?

The current limit is 100 MB per image. The platform owner can adjust this value inside the ACP Site settings page.

Does it keep transparency?

Yes. Transparent PNG files can stay transparent when converted to WebP, depending on browser support.
